Whether it was the quarantine workout fever that got into you recently or you’ve been at it for a long time, you might’ve asked yourself in the process if there were any skin benefits to exercising regularly and if you had to take special care of your skin before and after working out. I know I did, I was pretty clueless for a while. I used to take a shower right after, but I found out there was more to it + there were things I was doing wrong! If you want to know what the benefits are for our face and body as well as some tips, keep reading! Continue reading “The Benefits of Exercise for your Skin (+ the Do’s and Don’ts)”
You’re tired, you just put on your pj’s and are ready to nod off… but wait, did you remember your nighttime skincare routine? We’ve all been there. And we’ve all decided that some nights just weren’t skincare nights. That’s okay if your skin is naturally perfect, but I know for a fact that mine isn’t, which is why I’ve worked on building the perfect one for me. Besides, I love having some relaxing me-time before bed. And today, I will explain step by step my bedtime combination/oily skincare routine for you. If there’s one thing this quarantine is being good for, that’s having more time for self-care and skincare. As I mentioned in my latest update, I’m trying to make the most out of this situation by creating more thoughtful and complete routines and taking the time to realize which products work better for me and which ones I should stop using. Finally, I’ve come up with a pretty decent morning skincare routine, made up of cruelty-free products only, for my combination skin. Hi guys! I hope you’re all doing well. As most of you may be aware of now, Spain and several other countries are going through a lockdown during the COVID-19 crisis to stop it. It is a global phenomenon that this generation isn’t familiar with, and we can’t simply ignore it. But we mustn’t forget to keep doing what we love in the meantime…
On February 21, Jeffree Star launched the Blood Lust collection on his website and to some distributors. Fans of the brand returned to the battlefront (which is what queues become every time there’s a release) to get the products before they ran out of stock. I was lucky to be one of those who got the palette through Beauty Bay, although it is already available in Maquillalia. Today I will show you swatches and looks, in addition to the review. If you want to know more, keep reading! Continue reading “Blood Lust Palette – Jeffree Star Cosmetics | Is it worth it? (Review, Swatches + Looks)”
Brows are the very first thing for me. No, for real: it’s the first step of my makeup routine! However, during the weekdays, I have no time for fully done, on fleek brows. I need to be as quick as possible. And here’s where brow gels make an appearance… and where this product comes in. Today, I’m going to be talking about Makeup Revolution‘s new High Brow Gel! Jeffree Star and Youtuber Shane Dawson broke the Internet a few weeks ago with the release of their anticipated first collaboration: the Conspiracy Collection. I was lucky enough to get my hands on the Mini Controversy palette and the ‘Are You Filming?‘ Velour Lipstick, and today, I will show you swatches, looks I’ve done with it, and will give you my final and honest thoughts on it. Are they worth it?
Hi guys! Makeup Revolution recently collaborated with YouTuber and MUA Carmi and came up with the Make Magic Palette. Now, this selection of vibrant shadows is their second collab together, and the brand has proven to upgrade their quality in the past two years or so. This time around, the Italian beauty guru picked a stunning packaging with mermaid/crystal vibes to go with the outstanding shades. Want to know if it’s worth it or not? Keep reading!
Luseta Beauty has been one of my favourite hair brands ever since I found out about them thanks to Birchbox. They’re a cruelty-free brand with mostly vegan products (I’m pretty sure all of them except the Keratin range are vegan). They asked me to try some of their product for review purposes, and given how much I loved the brand already, I was thrilled! If you want to know more about my thoughts on the brand and the products I tried, keep reading! Continue reading “Luseta Beauty – Rose Oil, Biotin & Collagen and Keratin Duos (Review)”
