If you know me, you know I’m a big fan of k-beauty. Even before I started the blog, I was always looking for the best online or physical shops to get my favourite products from. I found YesStyle years ago but didn’t place an order until quite recently.
They offer some of the widest selections of beauty, clothing and lifestyle items at very affordable prices and they include more than 3.000 Japanese and Korean beauty brands like Elizavecca, Some By Mi, A’pieu and more. In today’s post, I will talk about the haul of cosmetic products I got and my thoughts on them. Keep reading to find out more!
One thing that caught my attention about YesStyle is that all orders under $1,000 are eligible for a refund in case customs fees or taxes are applied. It wasn’t my case, but if it ends up being yours, they have your back!
The order arrived 8 days after it was shipped, however, it took a little longer to be prepared. It all depends on the availability of the products: before ordering, they are marked as “usually ships within X days”, so you can decide how much you’re willing to wait. But now, let’s get to the products!
K-Beauty
Not all Korean beauty is cruelty-free, but there are some brands that are not tested on animals. As far as I know and I’ve researched, the following brands are all cruelty-free according to k-beauty lists, blogs and the brands themselves when asked.
A’pieu: Masks, masks, MASKS!
A’pieu is one of my favourite k-beauty firms. I’d already tried a few products from them before and love their milk sheet masks so much that I got one in this order! I picked the Chocolate Milk Sheet Mask. I also got the Goblin Blackhead Real Big Nose Strip, which I had seen online but hadn’t had the chance to try before.

The product that I was most excited about was the Hyaluthione Soonsoo Daily Sheet Mask Box containing 33 hyaluronic acid and glutathione-powered sheet masks. This is the first time I’d seen something similar. I tried one and noticed that it was very gentle, not too hydrating, which is perfect for daily use and good for combination/oily skin. I can’t wait to keep trying them and do a full review!

Elizavecca: The OG Clay Bubble Mask
Everyone knows Elizavecca at this point. The bestselling k-beauty brand has been around for less than a decade, however, it’s already won many beauty lovers’ hearts with products like their famous Carbonated Bubble Clay Mask.

I was instantly drawn to it when I saw it on YesStyle. The price was average to what I’d seen on other websites, if anything, a little cheaper even. I’ve tried the mask twice already, and I’m LOVING the results. Now I see why everyone always raves about it. It’s not only fun, but it also leaves the skin really clean and tighter. I can’t wait to talk more about it.

RiRe: Bye-bye, blackheads!
If there’s one thing I love more than good products, that’s good products that come with a handy packaging. RiRe‘s Style Black Head Brush Cleanser has a silicon brush that helps remove impurities, dead skin and sebum from the nose.
It counts with black rice, black soybean and black sesame extracts alongside jojoba seed oil, arnica flower extract, macadamia seed oil and yarrow extract in its ingredients. The results? Skin looks clearer, smoother and tighter.

JAYJUN: The most relaxing Green Tea Gel Patches
I love undereye patches. It’s not only about the results but about how relaxing they are. When it’s gel patch time, you better lie down, put on a soothing playlist and forget about the word. These Green Tea Gel Patches from the brand JAYJUN are awesome for that. The smell is very calming and the hydration lasts pretty well.

It comes with 30 pairs (60 in total) and can also be used in other areas of the face, like the corners of the mouth.

Suncreams
I also got some sun creams just in time for the summer. It’s important that even if we have to stay home as much as possible to prevent the spread of coronavirus, we take care of our skin and protect it from the harmful effects of the sun. Here’s what I got:
VILLAGE 11 FACTORY – Daily Mild Sun Cream Set
With its lightweight and UV-protective formula, this sunscreen provides a pleasant and refreshing finish on the skin and also soothes damaged and irritated areas. I still have to try this one, but I’ll update you guys soon.

SOME BY MI: Truecica Mineral 100 Calming Suncream
From what I’ve gathered from using this sunscreen, which promises not only to protect against UVA/UVB rays with UV FPS50+ PA++++ protection, but to improve the appearance of skin and wrinkles, I can tell that it’s a lightweight formula that doesn’t feel sticky and applies pretty well. The calming properties are a plus.

I like it so far: my combination/oily skin looks nice, my pores don’t feel or look clogged, and it’s simply great. I’m positively surprised!
And… that’s the haul thus far! I wanted to divide it so the posts wouldn’t be too long. I got too excited getting k-beauty cosmetics; but there’s even more to YesStyle, even more than makeup (which we will get to in the next post). They have a huge amount of products that I can’t wait to share with you all. For now, I hope you enjoyed this post! Stay tuned for the next one!
Before you leave, don’t forget to follow me on social media. I try to be more active there, and it’s an easier way of seeing my follow-ups and updates! ♡
