Quarantine Update: Upcoming posts and themes

Hi guys! I hope you’re all doing well. As most of you may be aware of now, Spain and several other countries are going through a lockdown during the COVID-19 crisis to stop it. It is a global phenomenon that this generation isn’t familiar with, and we can’t simply ignore it. But we mustn’t forget to keep doing what we love in the meantime…

I’m writing this post because as a content creator that loves what she does, I’m struggling to find motivation at times. This is also due to my other personal and professional responsibilities at the moment, but it has impacted this project way more than I expected. From the beginning, I knew that I wanted to make the most out of this situation and work on myself, my projects and university. I also wanted to help others in forgetting about the problem as much as they could: giving them wellness, cooking, makeup and self-care inspiration.

We need to stay at home as much as we can. The importance of doing that can’t be stressed enough. When we don’t leave our house, we are stopping the spread of the virus and minimising the domino effect of it. In our parents, our siblings, our neighbours – in everyone we possibly can.

And now that I’ve made sure to say that, I wanted to highlight that I will keep creating blog posts and I’m most certainly going to try to film videos for you as well. During these hard times, we have to do as much as we can to make it lighter for the rest and for ourselves, as difficult as it might sound at first. I’m privileged: I get to study from home these days, and in my free time, I create digital content. I know that this isn’t everyone’s cases, especially for health professionals or people who have lost their jobs during these trying times. But we have to remember that all of us matter and our status should not depend on our productivity or our status during a twisted up time like this.

So…
What can you expect? To make it easier for carriers who still have to work and face serious risks while doing so, I’m trying not to order anything that I don’t need. I can get cosmetics on my way to do grocery shopping, even if that means I won’t be able to get my favourite shampoo (who even cares about shampoos now?) or new makeup. Luckily, I already have a lot at home! And that’s one of the things I will talk about: the products I am reaching out the most for, the routines I’m creating for myself and more. I’d never had the chance to try products this patiently and comfortably, plus taking my time to take care of my skin is helping me to get through the lockdown.

I’m also trying to work on my social media feed. If everything goes well, this situation might not be all rainbows and butterflies – but my feed will certainly be! I’d been consistent on my organized feed for a long time now, but I want to try new things and let my creativity take me wherever it plans to.
You’re about to see lots of artistic makeup as well, since I have way more time now, and overall just me having fun with different ideas, which I hadn’t had in a while.

I also plan to do some makeup looks for Youtube or IGTV. I was pretty disappointed when a few months ago the views my videos had were erased, but I hope that doesn’t happen again and that you can enjoy them either way.

I also wanted to ask YOU: what do you want to see or read about? I appreciate feedback and ideas, as this content I’m creating is for you!
Overall, I’m pretty excited about what’s to come. I truly hope you guys enjoy the content I plan on doing and I also wish you and your families well during these hard times.
We’re all in this together!

Before you leave, don’t forget to follow me on social media. I try to be more active there, and it’s an easier way of seeing my follow-ups and updates! ♡
