Luseta Beauty has been one of my favourite hair brands ever since I found out about them thanks to Birchbox. They’re a cruelty-free brand with mostly vegan products (I’m pretty sure all of them except the Keratin range are vegan). They asked me to try some of their product for review purposes, and given how much I loved the brand already, I was thrilled! If you want to know more about my thoughts on the brand and the products I tried, keep reading!
Luseta Beauty focuses on making “luxurious, silky, and healthy hair affordable to everyone“. Founded by industry professionals, it has been pursuing the goal to fulfil the needs of all hair types through creative thinking and understanding. Their hair and body care products are infused with the best natural ingredients on the market.
Their Tea Tree shampoo had always been one of my favourites, especially in the summer when my hair is on the oilier side. It balances it without drying it out so much that it looks terrible. So I was really excited to try their rose oil range, because it’s almost completely different to that.
Rose Oil Duo
The Rose Oil Shampoo and Conditioner duo is particularly useful for those with fine and/or dry hair. It contains Rose Rugosa flower extract, among other ingredients, which provides nourishment and adds volume. Using this shampoo and conditioner duo will help your hair look glossier and shinier. Plus, it does not contain any sulfate or phosphate, and it is paraben-free.
At first, I was concerned these products would make my hair oily or heavy, especially since they’re two. That’s happened to me countless times with shampoos that were designed for people with drier hair. However, this particular duo helped my hair A LOT. I feel like I didn’t even realize just how damaged my hair actually was until I started using this set and saw it brighter and less dry (but in a good way), while also feeling silkier to the touch.
All in all, I was definitely surprised by this kit. Unlike many shampoos and conditioners intended for people with dry hair, these two seem to be suitable for all and are really, really good. One of my new favourites of each type of product!
Biotin & Collagen
Luseta‘s Biotin & Collagen duo contains a natural blend of Vitamin B7 Biotin, Hydrolyzed Collagen and Argan Oil. These key ingredients help restore essential nutrients into every strand, while plumping collagen adds volume and dimension, consequently making your hair look stronger, fuller, thicker, and healthier.
I started using this duo right after finishing the one I had previously mentioned, and I did notice similarities in the results: my hair was still shiny and healthy, but it also gained extra volume in comparison. I also lost less hair in the shower, which was very important for me.
As I mentioned earlier, their Keratin range is not vegan as it contains hydrolyzed Keratin, a natural ingredient derived from Sheep’s wool (source). Formulated with Keratin Protein, Luseta‘s Keratin Smooth Collection strengthens each strand, increases elasticity in order to resist breakage caused by brushing, as well as chemical-process and styling. The argan oil conditions and smoothes the hair.
I’ve found that this product was especially helpful fighting frizziness, which I get very often with my wavy hair, and also made my hair really flowy and shiny. I also noticed that it reduced breakage when I brushed my hair.
Luseta‘s products’ quality is undeniable. My hair looks better than ever when I use their shampoos, and the conditioners are just amazing, really nourishing. The prices, considering the amount of product you receive, are also good, in my opinion. One 16.9oz / 500ml bottle is $16. Besides, when you sign up to receive their emails on their website, you get 10% off!
I highly recommend going through their products, as there’s plenty of options for every type of hair and concern. There’s a match for everyone, and there are travel-size kits available for $5, which will give you an idea on how the kit is going to work for you (and they’re also perfect for travelling).
This is it for today! I hope you enjoyed reading today’s post. If you have any doubt, don’t hesitate to comment. Also: have you tried any products from Luseta? Which one is your favourite, if so?
