¡Buenos días a todas! Hoy os traigo una reseña (¡la primera en dos idiomas!) de mi última adquisición de Colourpop Cosmetics, la famosa “She” palette. Salió en julio de este año, y todavía cuesta mantenerla en stock. La segunda colaboración de esta marca con Karrueche Tran (aquí tenéis mi reseña del set de pintalabios de la primera) ha sido todo un éxito, pero, ¿vale la pena?
Hey everyone! Today I’m bringing you my review (my first English review, in fact) on my latest acquisition from Colourpop Cosmetics: the “She” palette. It was released in July, and they’re still having a hard time trying to keep it in stock! The second collab from this brand with Karrueche Tran has been a total success, but is it worth it?

Esta paleta es perfecta para las amantes de los tonos cálidos y románticos que tanto triunfan en otoño. El packaging es precioso, con las rosas como temática. Es bastante pequeña, pero como ya os explicaré al final, sale a cuenta.
This palette is perfect for all the lovers of warm and romantic tones that seem to triumph in autumn. The packaging is so beautiful, with roses as the theme. It’s smaller than I thought it would be, but as I’ll explain at the end, it’s so worth the price.
Textura y pigmentación | Texture and pigmentation
La textura de las sombras compactas de Colourpop Cosmetics me han fascinado desde el día que las probé. Son muy cremosas y suaves, además de muy pigmentadas.
I’ve always adored the texture of the Colourpop pressed powder shadows. They’re very creamy and soft, also I might add that they are very pigmented as well.
Swatches y aplicación | Swatches and application
Por desgracia, los tonos de las primeras sombras son más difíciles de capturar, y aquí no se aprecia lo bonitas que son. Destacan el tono Gal, la única sombra duocromática de la paleta, un cobre con brillos rosados, y los mates Dear, Missy y Duchess porque son muy pigmentadas y se trabajan muy bien juntas.
As I’ve said before, the pigmentation of this palette is great, but due to the lightning, I didn’t get to take a picture on which the first six (from the top to the right) shadows could be truly appreciated. For instance, Gal, the one on top, is quite remarkable as it is a duochrome copper eyeshadow with pink shimmer, and all the mattes except Damsel (which is the least pigmented) are amazing.
El resto de tonos son malvas, oros y oros rosas en acabados metálicos (y un satinado, Babe). La pigmentación es muy buena, pero hay una sombra, Chick, que no es completamente opaca.
The rest of the palette has mauves, gold and rose gold tones in metallic finishes (and a satin, Babe). The pigmentation is really good, but there’s this shadow, Chick, which isn’t completely opaque.

Como ya he dicho anteriormente, la paleta es bastante pequeña. Eso me parece algo positivo, ya que por el precio sale a cuenta y la hace perfecta para llevar a cualquier lado. Aquí os dejo una comparación entre las sombras que contiene y la sombra Fair Play de la paleta Belle of the Ball (cuya reseña podéis leer aquí):
As I’ve said before, the palette is pretty small. Nonetheless, I think that’s a possitive thing as the price is really good and its size makes it great for traveling. Here’s a comparison between its eyeshadows and the Fair Play eyeshadow from the Belle of the Ball palette:
Me parece que por el precio que pagas, el tamaño de las sombras está genial. Las sombras sueltas o de las paletas de cuatro contienen 1,5g de producto, y las de esta, 0,85g. Eso significa que en total te llevas 6g y 10,2g de producto respectivamente, por una diferencia de 4 dólares.
For the price you’re paying, the size of the shadows is really good. The single shadows you can also find in the pressed powder palettes of four contain 1,5g of product, while this has 0,85g each. That means you’re getting 6g and 10,2g of product respectively, for a difference of 4 dollars.
La verdad es que a pesar de haberme sorprendido su tamaño (y eso que ya había leído en muchas reseñas que era muy pequeña), lo práctica y bonita que es ha conquistado mi corazón. Los tonos son semejantes a los de otras paletas mucho más caras, como la Naked Heat de Urban Decay.
The truth is, despite being surprised by the size (even though I’d already read that it’s small), I find it to be very practical and pretty. The tones are similar to the ones from more expensive palettes like the Naked Heat by Urban Decay.
Esto de hacer entradas en inglés es muy nuevo para mí y no sé cómo irá, pero espero que sea un cambio positivo para el blog. No creo que todas las entradas tengan este estilo (hay productos y suscripciones que son exclusivamente españolas, así que no tendría sentido), pero intentaré que escribir el la mayoría en ambos idiomas. ¡Espero que os haya gustado la entrada! ♡
