I first got to know the brand about three or four years ago when I discovered their famous original hair growth serum, which I’ve already mentioned in my favorites’ blog post. It was love at first sight… or almost, because like all hair growth and strengthening treatments, results take time. But you get the idea.

Let’s start with the defining shampoo, shall we? This one promises to cleanse curls without stripping the hair and scalp of natural oils, which is key to keeping hair healthy.
Its star ingredients include caffeine and an oat lipid complex that stimulate the roots, protect the scalp, and maintain hydration.
My experience: It’s very easy to use, and you only need a small amount to create a lather. I love how smoothly it applies and the clean feeling it leaves behind (along with the brand’s classic scent, which I adore). In summary, I love it!

Conditioner is an essential step in the Curly Girl Method, as it nourishes the hair and maximizes curl definition. That’s why we need one that helps us get the most out of it.
Grow Gorgeous’ conditioner formula uses ingredients that respect the hair’s natural oils, combat frizz, and provide intense hydration without weighing the hair down.
My experience: I usually need to use a very hydrating mask along with conditioner to ensure my hair doesn’t lack moisture. However, I decided to try this conditioner on its own, and I was surprised at how well it worked: it deeply hydrated and left my hair soft and manageable. Now, I’m excited to try the mask from the same range!
Grow Gorgeous – Curl Defining Leave-In Butter

The brand describes this product as a defining moisturizer that helps with styling and deeply nourishes for highly defined curls with a healthy shine. It contains natural ingredients that enhance hair’s luminosity, reflecting its healthy condition.
My experience: What they describe is exactly what this product delivers. It’s actually my favorite of the three: I didn’t use to apply leave-in masks until I started trying this one (as I mentioned earlier, this review sat in my drafts almost finished since 2022), and it lasted me a long time.
It leaves the hair looking beautiful and makes detangling much easier, which is crucial for me since my hair tends to tangle easily.
