Hi guys! I can’t believe it’s June already, but it’s time for my very first empties post, only after more than 3 years of blogging. It’s a very recurrent theme for beauty blogs, but I’d never found the perfect time or amount of products to join. I’ve been saving some skincare, makeup and even shower care products for this occasion. Some of them are staples in my collection now, while some others I probably wouldn’t recommend as much. Keep reading to find out!
Skin, hair and others
Camomile Cleansing Butter – Flor de Mayo
5,90€ (in a set with makeup remover glove) | Cruelty-free | Vegan
I’ve talked about this product countless times already. Ever since the first try, I loved the results: it removes makeup perfectly and it leaves the skin smooth, hydrated and calm. It also comes with a really useful glove and it has nourishing properties for our skin and lashes. An absolute favourite.

Cacao and Coffee Body Scrubs – Organic Shop
£2.99 – 1,99€ | Cruelty-free | (Maybe) Vegan
The next products have grown to be my favourite body scrubs. Ever. Very close/tied with Lush‘s Rub Rub Rub and Magic Crystals, this range is way more affordable and leaves the skin feeling just as soft. They are a bit pastier than the aforementioned, but that’s even better if your skin is sensitive. Overall, they are very nourishing as well as efficient in getting rid of dead cells and softening the skin, plus they smell amazing!

Buff Your Stuff Body Scrub – Dirty Works
While I did enjoy this body scrub and it left my skin feeling soft, I wasn’t super in love with it. It is good, but not the best by far. I honestly preferred the ones I mentioned before. So I do recommend giving it a try if you’re interested in it because it is very affordable, but I wouldn’t repurchase because there are better ones.

Oily Skin Facial Cleansing Gel – Awen
€12.99 | Cruelty-free | Vegan
My skin has always been a bit messy. I have really oily skin in the summer, but then it gets super dry in the winter. When I paired this oily skin cleansing gel with other hydrating products in December, they worked phenomenally. Awen‘s products are locally sourced and natural. I’ve said it a few times already: you fall in love with their values and packaging, and you come back for the quality of the products and the realness of them.

Activated Charcoal Toothpaste – My Magic Mud
13,50€ (Mentabio) | Cruelty-free | Vegan
I normally don’t talk about dental care here, but I had to talk about this charcoal toothpaste. I haven’t tried many of these, but from those three or four, this one stands out among the rest! It’s vegan, cruelty-free and 100% natural. I have noticed improvement in the whiteness of my teeth. I love it!

- Buy Again: Very likely.
Glow Tonic Cleansing Gel – Pixi
£18.00 – 23,55€ | Cruelty-free | Vegan
I finished this cleanser in early January and I think I haven’t enjoyed one as much ever since. I love Pixi, and this product was no exception! It has exfoliating and purifying properties, but it doesn’t dry out your face. It’s perfect for combination and oily skin types.
I most definitely recommend this product, however, I don’t know if I’ll repurchase any time soon because there are several other products that I want to try first and the price is a bit high for the quantity. But if you enjoy the Glow Tonic range, you have to try this one.

- Buy Again: Not sure; price.
Tea Tree & Argan Oil Shampoo – Luseta Beauty
$16.00 – 14,00€ | Cruelty-free | Vegan
Luseta is, hands down, my favourite hair brand. Their products are amazing. From the ones that I have tried, this one is my favourite shampoo because it’s perfect for oily hair and it balances it. It’s one of my must-have’s!

Biotin & Collagen Thickening Conditioner – XPEL
When I was looking for a conditioner a few months ago, I crossed paths with this Biotin and Collagen one from XPEL. It seemed too good to be true, but honestly, it wasn’t bad at all! I’m familiar with Biotin and Collagen as the main ingredients in hair care and love the strengthening properties. It was a really good choice.

Makeup
Conceal & Define Foundation
£9.99 – 9,99€ | Cruelty-free | Vegan
I already talked about this foundation here and named it one of my favourite makeup products of 2018. It took me a while to finish it, as you may notice; I think I’ve had it for two years. I didn’t necessarily use it every day (I’m normally a “natural skin” type of person), but it did last A LOT. I already repurchased a few months ago, when I thought I was running out of it, and had to wait 3 months for it to actually be finished. That’s how much it lasts.
It is probably my favourite foundation ever.

Better Than Sex Mascara – Too Faced
26,95€ – $25.00 | Cruelty-free | Vegan
Again, not a new product in this blog. I’ve been using Too Faced‘s Better Than Sex Mascara since I began this blogging journey, and it has been my favourite ever since. It is a bit pricey, but if you get holiday deals or sets, it is very worth it.

- Buy Again: With a good deal, yes!
Nude Illusion Loose Powder – Catrice
4,90€ | Cruelty-free | Vegan
This loose powder is one of my favourites! It’s a very affordable choice and I really like the effect it has on the skin. I had previously bought it in the past (this was the second time) and I recommend it a lot, especially if you have oily skin.

No Filter Setting Powder – Colourpop
$9.00 | 3 shades | Cruelty-free | Vegan
And finally, I talked about this product a while ago but I couldn’t get myself to finish it until January. It’s not that I didn’t like it, but it didn’t go well with certain concealers. At the time I purchased it, I liked it, but nowadays I wouldn’t bother giving it a try. There are plenty of better setting powders out there, plus Colourpop is one of the hardest brands to get where I’m from.
- Recommend: Not that good.
- Buy Again: No.
Well, that’s it for today! As a side note, I would like to point out that I’ve been very hesitant to post this as the recent events in the USA are deeply concerning and should not be minimized. At all. However, this is a post that I’d worked on for a while and I didn’t want to scrap something that was already written.
It aches my heart that we still have to fight for human rights because these things should not happen now, and should not have happened or been normalized ever. I’m sending all of you lots of love. If you can donate, please do. Every little contribution helps. Here is more info on that.
