Good morning everyone! Today I’m going to talk to you about my favorite products of the year so far. Many people do this type of posts monthly, but I prefer to extend the time a little more so that I have more products and I don’t just put random stuff in them that I’m not that interested in. So from now on, the first publication of the months of April, July, October and January will be this kind of style. Tell me in the comments if you’d like to see more publications like this!
Conceal & Define Concealer – Makeup Revolution
This has definitely been one of the first
(if not the very first) of my 2018 favorites. It was a huge success that lived up to its hype. The only problem, in my opinion, is that it has a very little amount of product (I’ve bought three since they came out), but it makes up for it with a very easy blendable formula and the perfect coverage. You have the full review in the link below.
After Shock Palette – Bad Habit
10$ (App) | Cruelty-free
This palette has won my heart completely. I always use mauve, burgundy and neutral colors because they are my favorite and because they adapt better to my daily life, but this palette kind of pushes you to play with colors and I love that. The shadows work great, even though they do have some fallout. The colors are beautiful, but they own that to the original palette, Huda Beauty‘s Electric Obsessions, but that’s the only problem I have with it.
Skinny Liquid Eyeliner – Eyeko
19,50€ | Cruelty-free | Vegan
I got this product in March’s Birchbox (Spain) and I haven’t stopped using it ever since. You can see how it looks on the eye in the image above to the right. It is very precise and dark, which I love. I think I could replace my beloved Tattoo Liner by Kat Von D, which until now was my favorite.
HD Liquid Coverage Foundation – Catrice
7,99€ | Cruelty-free | Vegan
I started using this foundation shortly after returning from Paris, since I had some people recommend it to me a lot and in the end, I gave in. I have to say that although I did not like Catrice‘s products at first, I was very impressed with their face products, including this one and their Camouflage concealer, which I haven’t added to this list because I’ve been using it since last year. The base has a very natural finish on the skin and makes it look perfect, without feeling heavy at all. I can’t wait to tell you more about this product in a post!
CoverAll Pressed Powder – Wet n Wild
3.99€ | Cruelty-free | Vegan
I got this product in February and I’m loving it – I noticed that when I use it, my pores look tinnier and the makeup is set for hours. And the price is really great for the quality.
Paleta Cocoa Blend – Zoeva
22€ | Cruelty-free | Vegan
I’d been dreaming about getting this palette for months when Sephora reduced its price to 12€ during this year’s January sales, and I got it straight away. Since then, it has become a staple in my daily routine. I think it’s one of the best neutral palettes I’ve tried; I’m not a big fan of the shimmers, especially because it’s not the one I look for when I want more complex looks, but the matte shadows blend like a dream and it makes for the perfect everyday palette.
Absolute Care Eye Contour – UNANI
15€ | Cruelty-free | Vegan
I love eye contours because the undereye area is one of the most problematic areas of my face, and I like this one especially because it helps to reduce wrinkles and deflate bags, giving a much fresher and awake look. I got it in a Birchbox and I was quick to get the full size!
